Bible Verses when Job Hunting

As someone in my 20’s I have gone through many seasons of job hunting. Whether feeling like God was calling me elsewhere, but not knowing where. Or losing a job and having to figure out my next steps. Whatever that may look like, here are some Bible verses to cling to during that season.

Remember, to trust The Lord. You may not understand why He is allowing this to happen and what the next steps may look like, but we know that He sees the big picture. We are to truly surrender, look to Him, and trust that He will open the right door. I pray these verses below can encourage and comfort you in your season of job hunting.

Philippians 4:6

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Philippians 4:19

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

Matthew 7:7

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

Romans 8:28

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
