We booked our honeymoon trip to Secrets Puerto Los Cabos Golf & Spa Resort in August 2023. Our stay was a full week and an incredible experience. Read more to see why I gave this resort a 4.5/5.
Dining
For someone who is not as much of a foodie as my husband, I have to say, the food here was amazing. Our go-to spots were the Barefoot Grill, Coco Cafe, and Market Cafe. We also enjoyed the food at the Himitsu, Oceana, and the Seaside Grill. I love Italian and looked forward to the Portofino, however, it is not a spot I would recommend. And let me say, the room service had many yummy meals and treats. We’re not drinkers, but I did enjoy my mocktails.
Price
We chose this resort because of the price. I have to say, all-inclusive are the best way to get the most out of every dollar you spend. This was a great and affordable price for a couple that wanted an out-of-the-country experience without spending typical out-of-the-country prices.
Service
The staff here was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. I also appreciated that as someone who does not speak much spanish, a majority of the staff knew English and we were able to communicate. They were quick to help us and help us feel our best during our stay.
Suite
We stayed in the Junior Suite Garden View (king-size bed). The room was very spacious and refreshing. I loved the bathtub and our patio which had a lovely view. The one thing that would have made the suite experience better would have been accessible streaming services. Unfortunately, we could not log into our streaming services and instead watched cable. However, this suite is great for a couple on a romantic getaway.
Overall
I highly recommend this resort and would gladly return.
