As a first time teacher, I am super excited to be stepping into the profession. I am grateful that I have the privilege of working in a christian school and having faith incorporated in the operation of the school. Whether you are a new teacher, seasoned teacher, public school teacher or christian school teacher, we need The Lord with us in what we do. Here are some verses I am clinging onto and want to share for all my teacher readers.
Isaiah 40:31
but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
James 1:5
If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
2 Timothy 1:7
For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
Galatians 6:9
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
Proverbs 22:6
Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.
Proverbs 9:9
Instruct the wise and they will be wiser still; teach the righteous and they will add to their learning.
Romans 12:6-7
We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach;
I pray these verses bless you!
